Postbiotics Inc. Wins Puratos Innovation Challenge at Future Food-Tech San Francisco
Future Food-Tech San Francisco proudly crowned Postbiotics Inc. as the winner of the Puratos Innovation Challenge, following a dynamic live pitch session on the summit’s main stage. The challenge, created in partnership with Puratos —a global leader in bakery, patisserie, and chocolate ingredients and services— called on start-ups and scale-ups to present groundbreaking innovations that harness the gut microbiome to support physical and mental well-being.
Held on March 13-14, 2025, the Innovation Challenge focused on two key areas:
- Mental Well-Being – Leveraging the gut-brain axis to support emotional and psychological health.
- Physical Health – Enhancing digestion, immunity, and overall physical wellness through gut modulation.
Start-ups around the world responded with bold ideas and next-gen solutions, spanning from novel prebiotics and postbiotics to fermented ingredients and health data platforms. But it was Postbiotics Inc. that emerged as the winning force, capturing the attention of the judging panel and the audience with its powerful potential to reshape gut health through innovative postbiotic technology.
