David Weiner brings a distinguished career in biotechnology and product development to his role as Chief Technology Officer at Cauldron. With a proven track record of advancing technology platforms and scaling pioneering biomanufacturing processes, David has expertise in spearheading pivotal R&D initiatives that propel expansion. Prior to joining Cauldron as CTO, David served as VP and Head of R&D at Solugen, where he helped develop the company's chemienzymatic technology that underpins the first-of-a-kind Bioforge' biomanufacturing platform. With a proven track record of scaling pioneering biomanufacturing processes, David has expertise in spearheading R&D initiatives that propel expansion. He has built the teams and created the seminal technology behind multiple successful product launches and biotech mergers and acquisitions, including leadership roles at Diversa Corporation, Verenium Corporation, and BASF. David earned his PhD in Chemical Biology from Leicester University and completed his post-doctoral training with Research Fellow appointments at Amherst College and Scripps Research.
