Thomas Grotkjær is an investor at Novo Holdings and Partner in the Planetary Health Investments team, with 20+ years of experience across investing, board work, business development, and R&D. He joined Novo Holdings in 2017, and his board roles include Sejet Plant Breeding, 21st Bio, Reduced, The Protein Brewery, Chromologics, Biosyntia and MATR Foods. Previously, he worked at Novozymes, the start-up Fluxome, Alfa Laval, and the Carlsberg Group. He holds a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and graduate diplomas (BCom) in Finance and Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.
