Yanniv is a Managing Director at Fall Line Capital, where he focuses on venture investments across AgTech, FoodTech, biotech, and climate technologies. Fall Line Capital is a Silicon Valley-based investment firm that invests in startups across the food and agriculture value chain and in U.S. farmland. Before joining Fall Line, he was at AgFunder, investing in startups at the intersection of biology, food, and agriculture. Yanniv holds a Ph.D. in Biology from Stanford University, where he discovered new processes by which plant seeds sense their environment to determine when to germinate. He previously conducted research at Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, and the Weizmann Institute of Science. He is also a registered U.S. Patent Agent and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon.
