Inbiose produces and sells health ingredients, human milk oligosaccharides, or HMOs in short, are the 3rd largest component in human milk. These are considered an essential component in infant food and positively impact the infants development. Unfortunately, infants cannot always get access to mothers’ milk due several reasons, so we must rely on infant formula.
Until recently, human milk oligosaccharides where not commercially available. Extraction from cow milk is very expensive, not biological identical and poses to much environmental burden. Inbiose has solved this with a proprietary technology to make even the most complex HMOs available for the infants. We can cover up to 90% of the HMOs in human milk with out product portfolio.
Inbiose has also broadened the application range of complex glycans, beyond infant nutrition, to adults, animals and even plant health.
